TVNZ announces celebrity guest judges for the new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under!

Adam Lambert, Rachel Hunter, Keiynan Lonsdale and more, make up the incredible line up joining RuPaul on the judging panel when RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under premieres on July 28 on TVNZ+.

This season will see our extra-special guest judges and mentors from down under appear in-person, alongside our returning judges, Michelle Visage and Rhys Nicholson.

Starstruck judge and singing sensation Adam Lambert will be joining the panel, with our queens hoping to impress with their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.

Having first taken part on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars in 2012, Kiwi supermodel and icon Rachel Hunter is joining RuPaul once again as a guest judge, this time down under. Speaking fondly of her time filming, Rachel says: “always divine to be part of such an inspiring, electric show.”

Another guest judge returnee from the Drag Race franchise is Australian actor Keiynan Lonsdale, best known for his work in Love, Simon and CW’s The Flash. "Stoked to get to hop on this wild ride again, and just the way I like it, down under. Hope everyone's as gagged as me,” said Lonsdale.

Other celebrity guests making appearances this season include Australian footballer Josh Cavallo, former Miss Universe Australia Maria Thattil, Amyl and the Sniffers frontwoman Amy Taylor, and US singer Deva Mahal.

Alongside the star-studded guest announcement, the official trailer for the brand-new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under was released today.

Catch our celebrity guest judges when season three of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under premieres July 28, 7pm on TVNZ+, with new episodes dropping weekly.
